FabFitFun Fall 2016 | Unboxing & Review

Hello friends!

Is anyone else happy that Fall is back?! After a crazy hot and humid summer, feeling the breeze and watching the leaves change are just what a girl needs to get into the Fall spirit! That, and a PSL in hand, of course!

FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription box that features different items in beauty, fashion and fitness! All of the items are curated by the FabFitFun team and each box is themed based on what season they’re being sent out. After hearing rave reviews about FabFitFun, I decided to try it for myself!

The ordering process took less than a few minutes and the delivery took no less than a week! I was SO excited to get my hands on the box and check out what they offered for the Fall 2016 season! Each box has about $200 worth of items but for $49.99 USD/box, you really can’t go wrong with the price!

Each box contains an information booklet that lists all of the different products and their retail value. Not only that, but the booklet acts as a newsletter almost, with different articles, recipes and more!

Pure Cosmetics Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($50 USD)

At first glance, this palette reminded me of Urban Decay’s Naked series. The palette features 12 fall-inspired shades ranging from matte to shimmer finish. It’s shades are perfect for the demure everyday look or the smokey-eyed nightlife look. The product is paraben and fragrance-free PLUS it’s not tested on animals.

The Caramel shade is perfect for highlighting different areas of the face for a nice sun-kissed glow!

FabFitFun Colouring Book & Coloured Pencils ($14 USD)

If you’re an Annual FabFitFun subscriber, you may have had an option to choose from a variety of options. If you’re a quarterly subscriber, like myself, you receive a random variation from their options. In this box, I received Things! as my colouring book. Each page is one-sided so you never need to worry about markers bleeding through and every page was illustrated by different artists!

The Coloured Pencils benefit Pencils of Promise, an organization focused on bringing education to underserved children around the world.

ModCloth Loch & Key Scarf ($34.99 USD)

This scarf is 100% acrylic and comes in a variety of colours. My box had the black and white pattern which was perfect, since those two go with virtually any look!

They are not lying when they tell you it’s a blanket scarf! Having a scarf this big is great for coming up with different looks all fall AND winter!!

The Created Co. To-Go Coffee Mug ($19 USD)

The mug comes in two variations (Good Morning Gorgeous and Joy Comes in the Morning) that Select members can choose between. I got the “Joy Comes in the Morning” variation and I love it! It comes in a glossy black colour and holds up to 16oz of liquid. As a big coffee drinker, this is a perfect to-go mug on my way to work each morning!

Mullein & Sparrow Mini French Lavender Body Oil ($18 USD)

The body oil features simple ingredients: Helianthus annuus (sunflower) oil, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil and tocopherol (vitamin e). It’s a perfect moisturizer to use after you shower and will leave you smelling of lavender all day long!

The BrowGal Clear Eyebrow Gel ($20 USD)

As someone who is OBSESSED with their eyebrows, this BrowGal Eyebrow Gel is a must-have cosmetic. It works perfect with powders and pencils to help your brows stay in place. It’s also waterproof, which is a huge bonus!

Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash-Infused Buffer ($16 USD)

The scent of this sponge alone will have you fall in love! Kill two birds with one stone by exfoliating and cleansing your skin in one product! The lather gives your skin a smooth finish while the buffer scrubs away all of the dirt and impurities that the day left behind. All of out the lather? FabFitFun recommends to use a shower gel on the sponge once the soap is all gone!

Toesox Toeless Fitness Socks ($18 USD)

These socks are perfect for a morning of yoga or pilates! The non-slip grip on the soles are perfect to prevent any clumsy mishaps. I love the material of the socks but still not sure how I feel about the no-toe part.

Skin Laundry Restoring Night Serum ($50 USD)

This night serum is packed with antioxidants and vitamins all built to help improve your skin’s tone, texture, firmness and so much more. It’s a great way to end your night after washing away the dirt and imperfections that the day left on your skin!

Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Secret Outlast Clear Gel (Sponsored)

These items came as an added bonus in this season’s box. The clear gel deodorant is perfect for travel and the Cottonelle Cleansing Cloths are a great everyday must-have in your purse.

For my first-ever box, it was filled with a lot of amazing goodies. I had seen a bunch of posts from friends who are subscribed and my curiosity got the best of me! The best part? SIX of these products we created by women! I am all for supporting lady-created products!

My favourite items were probably the ModCloth scarf and the Pure Cosmetics Nude Palette. I have an obsession with Fall and scarves and the palette was one of the items I was most excited for when my friends showed me their boxes! It’s a great palette with the right amount of shimmer and matte shades.
